2018 WINTER/SPRING INTERNSHIPS

Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) is currently accepting applications for the 2018 winter/spring season. In general, ACT offers two types of internships: FIELD and OFFICE, though a mixture of the two is possible as well.

LAND MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIPS

Field interns work directly with our land management staff on projects associated with our preserves such as: trail building and maintenance, invasive plant removal, site preparation for prescribed burns, tree and wiregrass planting, etc. The schedule for these internships is fairly strict, usually a minimum of two days per week.

OFFICE INTERNSHIPS

Office interns work mostly with ACT office staff on a variety of projects such as: grant writing and preparation, communications (online, print, and social media), event planning and management, etc. The schedule is much more flexible and work can be done outside the office.

Interested? Please send us a short cover letter (describing your interests and which internship you are applying for) and resume (nothing fancy needed) to: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
