Alachua Conservation Trust Partnering with First Magnitude Brewing Company to Host Cycling for our Springs on November 13

Gainesville, Florida – Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) will host Cycling for our Springs event with First Magnitude Brewing Company to benefit springs protection and conservation on Sunday, November 13, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cycling for our Springs will be an exciting fundraiser where participants of all ages will hop on their bikes at First Magnitude Brewing Company and ride the Hawthorne Trail. The event will also feature live music from Weeds of Eden, food trucks, and beer at First Magnitude Brewing Company until 3 p.m. Proceed from this fundraiser go towards springs protection and conservation work on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers. Participants can choose between a 5-mile bike route from First Magnitude to Sweetwater Outlook and back or a 16-mile bike route from First Magnitude to Prairie Creek Preserve and back.

Adult registration includes entry into the ride, a "Cycling for our Springs" sticker, and a "Cycling for our Springs" pint glass with one pour of First Magnitude beer. Bike Lite registration includes entry into the ride, a "Cycling for our Springs" sticker, and a "Cycling for our Springs" water bottle.
