Program Areas
ACT has been working since 1988 to protect, conserve and celebrate North Central Florida. Our work encompasses more than simply putting conservation easements on private property and directly purchasing natural lands. By facilitating land purchases with municipal governments and local partners, engaging with our community through environmental education programs, and finding innovative ways for people to explore wild spaces, ACT continues to be a leader in the fight for conservation. From sea turtle habitat on the coast, to fire-based longleaf pine flatwoods, to our local rivers and waterways, ACT dedicates each day to protecting and conserving land for current and future generations.
