ACT Parks & Preserves
In addition to facilitating the protection of thousands of acres of conservation land across North Central Florida, ACT also owns and manages more than 6,000 acres. Our public preserves are currently located in Alachua and Marion counties and most are free to access from sunrise to sunset.

Public Parks & Preserves
The following conservation properties are open to the public.
General rules and guidelines for all ACT parks and preserves are as follows:
Preserves are open from sunrise to sunset.
Dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a leash.
Trails are unpaved and in some places can be muddy, uneven, or wet.
Drones are not permitted without permission from ACT.
Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
