NEW DATE: Paddle On Tuscawilla Preserve With Tom Kay

  • Tuscawilla Preserve (map)

This year’s rains and storms have kept Lake Tuscawilla full. Depending on conditions, we will attempt to paddle out onto Lake Tuscawilla. The scenery is lovely with plenty of opportunity to bird. The paddle is not long or hard, and depending on conditions, may be more of a float than a paddle. RSVPs (contact info below) are required since we need to organize the boats – let us know if you have a kayak or canoe (or any extra boats you would be willing to let others borrow). If you don’t have one, we will try to get something for you.

WHAT TO BRING

Insect repellant, sunscreen, water, and a sense of adventure. You will likely get your feet wet, so good footwear is advisable.

WHERE

Tuscawilla Cabin at Tuscawilla Preserve

WHEN

Starting at 9:00am
