Join us on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. for the Annual Conservation Stewards Awards hosted by Alachua Conservation Trust.
This event honors individuals in our community who are influential in a wide variety of ways – the arts, historic preservation, and particularly, in protecting our wildlife and natural resources. Past Conservation Stewards Awards have been some of the largest gatherings of community leaders and supporters of wild Florida in the region.
This year’s event will take place outdoors at Prairie Creek Lodge.

Our theme celebrates the legacies of Florida’s current generation of landowners and land stewards. Through their devotion to preserving the undeveloped land they own, they have ensured that Florida’s environment will remain wild for generations to come. These landowners have forged a deep connection to Florida’s grasslands, forests, rivers, springs, swamps, and creeks, and their decision to safeguard their land through conservation will have a profound impact that stretches beyond their lifetimes. Support local conservation by entering a drawing of chance to win a beautiful original oil on canvas painting by Linda Blondheim.*
Proceeds from the drawing will support Alachua Conservation Trust’s mission and work to the protect the natural, historic, scenic, and recreational resources in and around North Central Florida.
*This drawing of chance is hosted by Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT), 7204 SE County Road 234, Gainesville, FL 32641. Donations of $20 per entry or $100 for six entries are suggested. No purchase necessary. A winner will be randomly selected on March 19, 2022 at approximately 9:15 PM EST at Prairie Creek Lodge. You do not have to be present to win. Winner must pick up the painting from Prairie Creek Lodge. Painting valued at $1,100 and donated to ACT by Linda Blondheim.
Raffle ticket sales have ended. The winner will be announced on March 19th at the 2022 Conservation Stewards Awards.
