Join ACT for a volunteer work day as part of the City of Gainesville’s Great Invader Raider Rally.
ABOUT THE GREAT INVADER RAIDER RALLY
On Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9 to 11 a.m., registered volunteers under trained leadership, will work to remove invasive plants from Gainesville’s preassigned natural areas from 9 to 11 a.m. Be a part of this annual tradition and restore our natural areas!
Volunteers are invited to head to Morningside Nature Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a celebration which includes music, t-shirts, prizes, environmental booths and games and food!
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR
Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Hat, sunglasses, bug spray, sunscreen, snacks, and water are recommended.
