Join ACT for a cleanup event at Little Awesome Preserve. We will be removing debris from the property. This is a great opportunity to volunteer and see the preserve before it opens to the public.
This work day is open to the general public. All minors who wish to volunteer must be accompanied by an adult. Due to COVID-19, space is limited to the first 15 people who RSVP (see below for RSVP info).
Masks will be required to be worn at all times during this event.
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
Be sure to wear close-toed shoes and long pants. Bring water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, and hat. Face masks are required. Gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!

Driving directions will be provided to all registered volunteers one week prior to this event.
ABOUT THE PRESERVE
Little Awesome Preserve is a 195-acre tract of land on the lower Santa Fe River. This forested property is characterized by towering long-leaf pines, live oaks, and dogwoods. Little Awesome Swallet lends its name to the preserve and is one of the beautiful features that makes the karst habitat so unique. The woodland and river ecosystems are brimming with wildlife and scenery that screams “Florida”. Learn more here.
