Kendall Brockelman

ACT Spring 2022 - Spring 2023 Outreach Intern

Kendall is a Natural Resource Conservation major at the University of Florida with a focus on environmental policy, communication, and education. Kendall enjoys helping with ACT’s events and engaging with the community throughout the internship. Outside of ACT, she also works as a legal assistant and enjoys hobbies such as reading and painting.


Reyna Maya

ACT Fall 2022 Outreach Intern

Reyna is a second year student at the University of Florida studying Advertising and Sustainability. She is excited to be working with us this fall and learning more about the natural ecosystems in Alachua County and ACT operations. In her free time, Reyna enjoys playing softball, rollerblading, and going to local coffee shops with her friends.

Yael Hamaoui

ACT Fall 2022 Advocacy Intern

Yael is a second-year University of Florida undergrad with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (Europe) and minors in French and Religion. Yael is originally from Boca Raton, Florida, where she grew a passion for politics, community organizing, and diplomacy. Since then she has pursued a future in politics via internships, clubs and organizations that allow her to learn about and directly impact the issues she cares about, such as ACT and land conservation. Yael is the 2023 Future of Florida public policy summit Chair and this year's Brazilian-Portuguese club President. Through her time at UF she hopes to continue to work within the Gainesville community, advocating for a sustainable future. In her free time, she enjoys reading and cooking, as well as spending time with her friends.
