Orange Trail

Trail Length: 1.2 miles

Steepest slope: 11%

Total elevation gain: 111 feet

The Orange Trail is a loop trail that begins at the picnic area with sweeping views of Orange Lake. Trail users can pick a direction to begin and both directions begin a long descent towards the lake through former orange groves and cow pastures. The trail is mowed grass with no protrusions. A quarter mile into the trail, users have the option of taking a cut-through on the Blue Trail to shorten the loop to 0.6 miles. The Orange Trail continues descending towards a shaded hammock. At the bottom of the trail, users encounter shade for a quarter of a mile and the trail surface transitions to dirt. After leaving the shaded hammock, the trail begins its gradual climb back up to the trailhead.

Blue Trail

Trail Length: 0.1 miles

Steepest slope: 1%

Total elevation gain: 15 feet

The Blue Trail is mowed grass.
