Celebrate the Holidays with Alachua Conservation Trust at Prairie Creek Lodge on December 10th and 11th

Gainesville, Florida – Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) will host their annual holiday events at Prairie Creek Lodge, Trees and Treats on December 10, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Holiday Mingle on December 11, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

This weekend, celebrate the holidays with ACT at their Trees and Treats and Holiday Mingle events. Trees and Treats will be a family-friendly opportunity to plant longleaf pine seedlings, decorate holiday cookies, and enjoy coffee donated by Opus Coffee at Prairie Creek Lodge. This event is free and open to the general public. Participating children must be accompanied by an adult. Due to limited supplies and space, please RSVP with ACT by emailing info@alachuaconservationtrust.org. 

ACT’s Holiday Mingle will be an outdoor celebration of this year’s conservation victories. Friends and families are welcome to enjoy light food, drinks, and plenty of holiday cheer at Prairie Creek Lodge. The event is free, open to the public, and requires no reservation. It is recommended to bring picnic blankets and chairs from home to enjoy the musical performance by Oak Trio. Donations are also welcome in support of ACT's conservation efforts.
